About this policy
This policy explains how information is handled on logitally.com. “Logitally,” “we,” and “our” refer to the website and its operator. It covers the cognitive challenges, results screens, and other pages on this site.
Our challenges run in your browser. We do not create user accounts or maintain a server-side profile of your test answers and scores. This does not mean that your visit is anonymous: our hosting and analytics providers process technical and usage information as described below.
Information we handle
Test answers and results
Your selections, typed digit sequences, reaction times, scores, and current-run progress are processed in browser memory. The site does not send those answers or score values to an application server or Google Analytics, and does not save test histories or personal bests in cookies or local storage.
Technical and usage information
Delivering the website involves processing your IP address, requested URLs, browser information, and other technical request information. Google Analytics also processes cookie identifiers, page visits, browser and device information, general location information derived from technical signals, and interactions such as starting, completing, or retrying a test.
We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth, payment details, or health information to take a test. Please do not enter personal information where a task asks only for digits or a test response.
How information is used
Information is used to:
- Deliver the pages and interactive challenges you request.
- Calculate and display your results in your browser.
- Understand which pages and tests people use, and where the experience can be improved.
- Maintain the availability and security of the website and investigate technical problems.
- Meet applicable legal requirements when they arise.
We do not use test scores to make decisions about employment, education, healthcare, or eligibility for services. There is no account-based profiling or automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
Providers & transfers
Firebase Hosting
Google Firebase Hosting delivers the website and its static files over HTTPS. Its infrastructure processes technical request information to deliver and protect the service. See Firebase’s privacy and security information.
Google Analytics
Google processes usage information through Google Analytics, and we access the resulting reports. Fonts are hosted with our own site files, so displaying the site’s typefaces does not require a separate third-party font request.
International processing and other disclosures
Google operates infrastructure internationally, so information may be processed outside your country. Google describes its transfer mechanisms in its data transfer information. The protections and legal requirements that apply depend on the service, location, and applicable law.
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to respond to a lawful request or protect the website and its users.
How long data stays
Test data: answers, scores, and run progress are temporary browser-memory data. Refreshing or leaving the page normally ends that run; we do not maintain a saved copy you can retrieve later.
Analytics: our Google Analytics property currently retains event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months. The setting to reset user-data retention on new activity is enabled, so a returning visitor’s retention period can restart. Cookie lifetimes are separate from report retention, and aggregated reports can remain available longer. See Google’s data retention documentation.
Hosting: technical information is handled under Firebase’s service and security practices. We do not maintain a separate application database of visitors or test results.
Your choices & rights
You can use the tests without creating an account. Browser cookie settings, content blockers, and the Google Analytics opt-out tools described above can limit analytics collection. Blocking analytics does not prevent the challenges from working.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, restrict processing, or object to it. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in the applicable law.
Where applicable, you may also complain to your local data protection authority. The European Data Protection Board’s authority directory lists authorities in the EEA.
Because we have no user accounts and do not receive your test answers or scores, we cannot retrieve a past run or associate it with your identity. A request concerning analytics data may require information sufficient to identify the relevant records; avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information.
Security & children
We use HTTPS to protect information in transit and limit the information that the site sends to analytics. No internet service or transmission method can guarantee complete security.
Logitally is a general-interest practice site, not a service designed to collect personal information from children. Children should use the site with guidance from a parent or guardian. Do not submit a child’s personal or health information through a test.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, its providers, or its data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes, such as adding accounts, payments, advertising, or saved test history, will be described in an updated policy.
This policy describes data practices; it does not replace a consent request where one is required by applicable law.
Operator & contact
Operator identity and a public contact address have not yet been published. These details will be added here when available, including a contact method for privacy questions and rights requests.
